THE FBD Retail Excellence Ireland Awards were established in 1997 to promote best practice standards in the Irish Retail Industry. It is now the largest awards programme of its type boasting over 400 entries annually.

      Rules and Regulations

        Categories will be judged if there are twenty or more entries in that category.
        To be considered, entries must include all necessary submission details as listed on the attached entry form and include full payment of the entry fee. Incomplete/inaccurate entries will not be judged.
        The judging process is confidential. No proprietary information will be released to the public without prior consent. Only RETAIL EXCELLENCE IRELAND staff and FBD RETAIL EXCELLENCE IRELAND Retail Awards judges who have no conflict of interest with the nominees will judge the entries. All audit documentation sent for judging will have all references to the specific store removed.
        The judges' decisions will be final, including whether entries are eligible.
        The judging panel for all categories will consist of senior executives from prominent retail stores and representatives from the RETAIL EXCELLENCE IRELAND Retail Excellence Network and FBD Insurance.
        All nominated stores must be represented at the FBD RETAIL EXCELLENCE IRELAND Retail Excellence Awards.
        All nominated stores must allow for a promotional video of the store to be produced and broadcast on the evening of the Awards function.
        All nominated stores may have general details relating to their achievement listed in the media following the Awards function.
        All audit documentation will be returned in confidence to the nominated contact person from the store entered. This documentation will assess the stores performance and offer advice on identified areas of improvement.
